KUALA LUMPUR: REVIVE Isotonik has been announced as the official isotonic drink of Jelajah Malaysia 2009 by the organizer, Ten Speed Events Sdn Bhd today. Executive Chairman Datuk Astaman Abdul Aziz, said that he is pleased that once again REVIVE Isotonik becomes one of the sponsors and proved that cooperation on both ends has been good.

"We are pleased REVIVE Isotonic has the opportunity to become one of the sponsors of Jelajah Malaysia for two years in a row. REVIVE will be good for the competing riders especially after going thru the challenging routes this year. REVIVE’s unique formulation contains Vitamin B3, B6 and B12 to increase metabolism and electrolyte rate such as natrium and kalium to rehydrate, replenish riders’ body fluid and sustain their performance level,” said Hemalatha Ragavan, Marketing Manager Permanis Sdn Bhd, official distributor REVIVE Isotonic.

REVIVE is lightly carbonated and comes in a unique flavourful blend of grapefruit with a twist of orange.

With only nine days to go, the organizer of JM2009; Ten Speed Events Sdn Bhd is all thumbs up to go ahead with the oldest road-race event in Malaysia of 2.2 categorization by International Cycling Union (UCI).

Executive Chairman Datuk Astaman Abdul Aziz sated that preparation has been smooth sailing to 90 percent and only a number of minute issues to be resolved in time for the event.

"In the final Head of Department (HOD) meeting recently held on the 7th April 2009, all departments and agencies involved have confirmed their readiness to start this year’s JM2009. Only state level meetings are yet to be concluded and up to now all states involved have been supportive towards the event."

Jelajah Malaysia 2009 of 2.2 categorization by the International Cycling Union (UCI), will be held from 19th to 26th April is organized by Ten Speed Events Sdn Bhd.

The eight-stage race of 1240km in distance will commence from Kuala Selangor to Ipoh, stage 2 (Ipoh - Sungai Petani), stage 3 (Gerik - Tanah Merah), stage 4 (Pasir Mas - Kuala Terengganu), stage 5 (Kuala Terengganu - Kuantan), stage 6 (Kuantan - Bera), stage 7 (Tanjung Malim-Genting) and will end in stage 8 of Criterium race in Dataran Merdeka.
