Stage Six : A Bone Breaking Finish

Climbers are set to rule the sixth stage from Kuala Kubu Baru to Genting and most probably to clinch the overall red jersey before the final stage at Dataran Merdeka. The last 40km of the stage will feature two bone breaking  climbs, the first at Air Terjun Sungai Tua (Category 2) and the final staggering 20 km climb (Category 1)  starts from KM105.2 and ends at the roundabout before the last climb towards the peak of Genting Highlands. However the finish will be quite a unique manouvre as riders encounter a kilometer of sharp descending before a sharp right turn towards another sharp blistering climb finish at the peak of Gohtong Jaya.
 
The only good news for the sprinters is  all the three sprint zones are located before the KOMs starts.
